We initially booked the cottage to go to a concert but after finding how dog friendly it was we decided to take our 14 year old Jack. The house was perfect for the four of us as well as the dog. It has everything you need and after a 40 degree day was a delight to return to. I would highly recommend Schatzi's on Shalimah

 

We had a fabulous time with our three little dogs at the lovely Schatzi's. The cottage is just gorgeous inside - modern with old fashioned charm and outside is heaven for dogs. All the added touches like tea and coffee on arrival, dog beds and bowls and even a basket of toys for them made it that extra bit special. We all look forward to going back soon in the near future.

 

This was our second stay with our 2 dogs. A great house with a huge, fenced backyard for the pups to run around in while we were out exploring. A holiday for us and them!

 

We had a great weekend and loved our time at Schatzi's. The cottage was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The spa bath was great to relax in after a hard days wine tasting. The local club was only a one minute walk from the house. Our dog's had a great time as well. The backyard was so big it was like they had their own dog park. We would definitely recommend staying here with dogs you will all love it!

 

This is truly an amazing cottage.Maria has thought of everything & when it comes to dog's - wonderful & thoughtful.We would have loved to spend a few more days.Having run at the Hunter Valley Running Festival & return to the Spa was a perfect end for me.

 

Lovely property, very clean and comfortable. Nice quiet street. Great if you have allergies as nice wood floors and cloth all dust free. Fantastic large yard for dogs with lots of toys!

 

My husband and I stayed here with our two dogs and had an absolute blast. The cottage had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable, along with a huge backyard and plenty of space for the dogs to play. The cottage was also within walking distance to plenty of shops and restaurants and short drive to the wineries. Definitely would recommend this place to anyone, with it without pets!

 

My friends and I recently had a lovely stay at Schatzi's. The house is beautiful and well maintained in a nice part of town just a few minutes walk from the nice cafes on the main street. An excellent place to stay.

 

We had such a wonderful stay at Schatzi's, Indi thoroughly enjoyed her biggest backyard to date, all the toys and especially the ball thrower, the tramp bed was just like at home! Greg and I also enjoyed our stay, kitchen to cook in, lovely lounge to relax on, spa was a surprise and a lovely easy drive to the wineries and walk into town! Hopefully we'll be back.

 

We had a very enjoyable stay. The cottage is in a great quiet but central location. Tastefully renovated, the cottage had all the facilities that we needed, we will certainly stay agan the next time that we visit the Hunter region
